No, I found a few older playstation 1 games that won't play well one that I have that will not work at all "X-files" game. But majority will work fine

Yes, all of them, but you will need your original Playstation 1 memory cards to load or save you PS1 games.

Yes, but be careful! You can't save their data to a PS2 memory card. At least, not any of the games that I've tried to! I had to go and buy a PS1 card. They should be easy enough to find. If not, I guess you could try saving it to a PS2 card; it might be that compatability varies between games...

It is backwards compatible. It will play PS1. The PS3 Will play both PS2 and PS1 Games.
XBOX 360 Plays XBOX Games too.

not will it already does do you mean PS3 thats a real question if ps3 can play old games in the sony mag it said no but the producer said yes but ps2 can play ps games even when it first came out several years ago

yes but in order to save a ps1 game on a ps2 you must use the ps1 memory card
