Yes!, putting a supercharger on any automobile is going to add substantial horsepower,im not positive but i know that putting a turbo on an automatic car is actually better than putting a turbocharger on a manual because you dont lose boost in between shifts. Just watch out for the belt breaking :(

Sure. Supercharging 'blows' air into the intake vs the pistons sucking in oxygen, therefore horsepower leaps upward. Transmission only trasfers power to the drive wheels from the engine.

yes it helps any car,,in my opinion i think it helps an automatic more,,i own a repair shop,,and we have put a super charger on a 77 nova,,with a 350 automatic,,and it really helped it,,really they work better on automatics because the shift is controlled by the transmission,,not as much by the driver,,and this helps it,,as if it was on a standard transmission,,there is always the chance you could miss a gear,i hope this helps.

Super charger merely increases the HP of the engine. The way that increase actually gets to the wheels is beside the point.

You have to match the powertrain with the power the engine puts out. If your engine is too powerful for the transmission, your transmission will fail.
