What's he doing to piss you off?
If your ego is boosted, it'll only grow larger and need more boosting from then on until it grows so big that someone will be compelled to deflate it and you'll have to start out all over again.

Look your husband isn't doing what you want him to. Admit it. You are not happy with this. Too bad. Get over it and get on with your life. Your contentedness comes from inside of you, not from him. If he does things in your environment that isn't acceptabe, then tell him he must do it somewhere else. Get a life without him if you can't live with him. Do not Kick him in the balls.
