Why do male wear underwear. woman wear it as they have menstural cycle. Why does male waer. Just follow woman blindly

male underwear is an essential aid to prevent damage to the fundaments, as the testes are suspended in the scrotum by very delicate supports. The requirement to wear underwear is not so pronounced in todays sedentary world, as is so evident by the answers above this one, but for anybody leading an active life style, such as sportsmen, soldiers, labourers, wrestlers, etc, underwear, and well supporting ones at that, are essential. otherwise, hernia and hydrocele, to name a few ailments, may result.

in fact, most women(especially from poorer sections of society) do not wear underwear, except during periods. so there is no blind following too!

I believe underwear originally was used to protect the other clothes from.... stains. Washing clothes was a lot harder back then. K, so women menstruate, but men leave skidmarks & other stains.

I wear boxers when I jog or work out coz it's a lot more comfy, and at work. When I'm off work, I skip them most of the time and enjoy the freedom :)

perhaps men wear underwear to curtail the flopping around of the penis and testicles. some men feel more comfortable garbing beneath the outer layer of clothing.
i, myself, prefer NOT to wear underwear. i like the feel of freedom that this provides. i feel underwear is confining and causes me to develop crotch itch and a pungent odor. i bathe daily, but only going underwear free and i able to stop the itching and odor.
