Are all UK acting the same way as in Big Brother?.
Most of the social life happens in a pub or nightclub but most of the people enjoy going out to meet your friends , it doesn't mean you are going to get drunk , ok in some cases people do get drunk , but not only here everywhere else in the world too!
I know many people who are not drunks, others are but it doesn't mean we are all the same.
Do not follow what ever you hear from other people only, judge for yourself

I have a friend who is with an Irish guy now for over two years and I think both of them would resent stereotyping of this sort.
Not all Irish are drunks, not all Scots are tight, not all English are prudes and not all Americans are bigots.

No but, it's funny, you can't buy alcoholic beverages in a supermarket. You have to go to a different store and those stores usually have limited hours and days that they are open. So it seems the more something is limited, the more inclined humans are to do it...
