the walmart I go to has gravel vacs. I want to say I paid maybe 5 or 6 bucks for mine? I can't remember if I got the smallest one or not. Anyway, assuming your walmart has a fish tank section, it should be in that part of the store, I think at our walmart they are hanging from hooks by the aquarium background things and the brushes. Hope that helps.

I don't about walmart, but any pet store that has fish will carry them for $3-7. Note that you should get a gravel vacuum that's wider portion is shorter than the depth of the water in your tank.

There are small siphons (gravel vacs) for as low ar around 5 dollars. Probably the single most important piece of equipment for the aquarium keeper.
