I witnessed a motorcycle accident from across the street. By the time I ran across the street, he was already dead. He might have survived if he had been wearing a full helmet rather than a half helmet otherwise known as a brain bucket. I checked for a pulse but he probably died on impact. I will always remember it, it plays like slow motion in my head. His name was Leonard, he was 24.
