It is a great little place to live, White sugar sand beaches, with beautiful emerald green water. I lived in Fort Walton Beach for 4 years and enjoyed it.

Yes, it's a very good place to live. Good weather and low taxes. Housing isn't expensive, but good-paying jobs are not that plentiful. The real bonus to that area is the beach. You won't find white sand like that anywhere else in this country.

Yes, it is quiet and peaceful.
It is in the panhandle which is your older Florida and hasn't been inundated with all the transplants that the rest of the state has.

It depends it is nice and sunny there, but also there are more twisters and hurricanes
