I live in NC. and I am afraid that I can't do much because we are in different states. The Social Services has been called on my sister-in-law (not by me), but they are not helping - atleast not good enough. My sister-in-law is a dope head! among other things. She leaves the children with my mother-in-law most of the time, but sometimes she takes them with her while she is out doing God only knows what! She wont bath them. They are always nasty. If it wasn't for the cloths that I give to them - they wouldn't have any! The kids eat wennies, and tomatoe soup all of the time. She feeds them a cake for breakfast. My nephew almost failed kindergarten because nobody would help him with his work. They are so much more that I could say, but I am too stressed out, so I beter not. Please, if you can help me, give me some advice, or a web site I can visit, I would appreciate it so much. I want to help these kids before it's too late.

Keep on at Social Services. Get other people to contact them also. Get relatives to write letters listing dates & times.

Start documenting everything with a date and time that you believe is happening. Then take that in hand to Social Services and tell that you expect something to be done. If not contact you local child abuse hotline and keep calling until you get results. Even if that means calling every day.

I think that you should find a way to get them to live with you and legally adopt them. My advice is to find a laywer as Scocial Services have so many cases they do not take the time to sort out all of them. Use your inititive and find a way to get those children out either with you or other better foster care.

Nothing. Stay out of their lives. This is called meddling. You have no right. God is working in their lives just like He is working in yours. Don't get in His way.
