I've seen a few of your questions about buying your son a baseball bat. I have been playing ball for 14 year, and I am my high school teams MVP. If your son is serious about baseball and you are looking to get him a nice bat, you are going to have to be willing to spend some money, probably around $250-$300. The Dimarini Diablo isn't my first choice of a bat, but it is worth over 140 bucks, probably over 200. Personally, my favorite is the Easton Stealth CNT. Unlike most bats, it's weight is evenly distributed throughout the barrel, thus making more pop in more places on the barrel. Coaches always tell you to hit the ball with the sweet part of the bat....this bat has like triple the sweet spot. Good luck finding the right bat for your son.

I coach a HS team, and 3 of my players used to use that bat...everyone of them said it made good solid contact, but didn't feel like it had much "Pop". Of the 3 kids that used them, all 3 switched to either the TPX Echo (the white, red bat) or the Easton Stealth. Good luck with your choice.

personal opinion of Dimarini bats are not good, everyone that i have owned or used have ended up denting rather fast. No I am not misusing the bat, in my experience with them, they dent rather easy.
