Depends. What is your goal? Are you wanting short term growth or long term growth? Are you wanting slow and steady gains with little to no risk or big gains with big risks of taking a loss? There are a lot of factors to determine.

I think shares of infosys is best to buy.
Though u may get only 2 shares , it is worth buying.
The element of risk is less , as the share values are steady.
For example , those who bought 100 shares of infosys in the beginning for Rs.10000 are crorepatis now.
As it is a software company , it has demand forever .

I'd gamble and buy SIRI, Sirius Satellite Radio. You'd get about 800 shares, and there is a chance that they will buy XM Radio - which Wall Street wants. You'll make at least 20-30% if that happens.

Its not that simple as recommending something...
Many different stocks are good for different people...
It depends on a lot of different things.
how long do you want to hold on to it?
Your tax bracket... (determining between high dividend stocks)?
Your risk preferances (how much risk are you willing to put into for rewards)
etc. etc. etc.
Also before taking brokers or other peoples advice on stocks watch Boiler Room

"sowmisud" gave you the correct advise. infosys share prices are going up after the bonus issue. even if you get only 2 shares with the money you have , it is the safest and likely to give you the best returns in the long time.
