My friend and i have been close since high school he went through many hard times and i was always there. Now he finds him self a girlfriend that hates me and he tells me he cant keep talking to me because she made him pick between us two. and he picked her... I'm really heart broken over it and he seems not to care. the only this he said was that he forgets people fast and easy come easy go.

Im not inlove with him i love him the way you love a friend. But im not inlove with him. He was just my buddy always there. I have other friends but he was the only one i was close too.

and to you crystal, dont worry, if he chose another girl over you he's probably not the best friend for you, you know? Yeah sure, it;ll take time to get over him, but you'll find another close friend. and u have other friends to turn to besides him right? so you should be fine. AND in the end if this doesnt work for u.....try and do something to regret him breaking his friendship with you.....ex: dont look at him in the hallway when you pass him, look really depressed/upset when he sees you. if he comes to talk2 u, talk2 him but give him really short one to two word answers.
it should get him to regret his choice in no time....

Let me tell you your close guy friend is really no good anymore especially if he wants to dicth you over his new gf. It's like he wants to have a gf so he loses a good friend that's always been there. So you want to know what i think you should do is drop him b/c you were the good friend at heart and know what i guess maybe your friend never looked at it that way. So i think he lost a friend.

been there done that. it's the price you pay for having a member of the opposite sex as a best friend, it means you get dumped a lot. she says we can't be friends anymore.... it's up to you whether you want to be around when she dumps him, and when he realizes that getting rid of you was just the start of her controlling him he may just dump her. chin up and try not to take it personal, I'm sure he'll be hurting over not having you as a friend real soon

Well, remember that if this girl dumps him and he needs a shoulder to cry on. Also, when that day comes, (and it probably will) remind him of his choice.
