well, since you don't know, I won't tell you that it is a body part that grows a bit...you don't pierce things that expand & contract, unless you want them to not work.
Have you even heard about hyper stimulation?

Please check with your friends and find a reputable piercer. I know several women that have a clit piercing. The piercing is actually supposed to go above the clit bump, NOT through the clit itself. I don't know any of them that got the hood piercing but they got the piercing that goes above and behind the clit. that way the bead ring sits squarely on the clit bump. which one are you thinking of getting.
Find a friend that has one already. Get references.
If done right, you will be experiencing the best sex possible. that is what all those women told me. they have a ring and a ball on it.
good luck!!

Make sure that whoever you go to is a reputable peircer, contrary to what people are saying yes you can have the actual clit done and no you don't lose feeling down there. It heightens the experience of sex plus it is virtually painless and once you are completely relaxed when you are getting it done I would say that you stand a 95% chance of having an orgasm when it is done

As far as I know, you don't pierce the clit itself, but the hood. You can have either a horizontal hood piercing, or a vertical. I have a friend of mine that got hers done with a vertical piercing and she loves it. She says it makes it more sensitive.
Look up a website called BME. It has a forum with peoples experiences with different piercings, and their advice.
Make sure to go to a reputable, health safe shop to get it done though. Not worth cutting corners on something like this.

You're likely wanting a clitoral hood piercing, rather than a clitoris piercing - the latter of which will cause damage to important nerve endings.
With a hood pierce, you have the option of a vertical pierce, which provides direct stimulation, or a horizontal pierce, which provides indirect stimulation.
You'll likely want to go visit BMEZine.com and read up a bit on the pierces - people have contributed their experiences, and if you do have further questions re: the hood pierce, please feel free to drop me an e-mail. :)

first thing get on the web and do a search you'll find plenty of picks on it. It hurts thats #2 and the fact that it can easily get infected should turn you away but if you still insist go to a piercing salon and talk with some one about it. Not everyone is able to do that so you will have to make an appointment and discuss it with them.

You don't actually have the clitoris pierced. You have the clitoral hood pierced.
My one friend who had it done said it was the best decision she ever made. She said it made sex more enjoyable, by making it much easier to have an orgasm during intercourse.
Obviously you want it done by an experienced professional with a clean facility. Do your research.
