Okay, I have one proven RB and four other sleepers. I'm just wondering who you think should be my second starting RB. Clinton Portis is my undisputed number one: who is second??
Cedric Benson
Reggie Bush
Laurence Maroney
Frank Gore
I'd say Benson or Gore, but all of the backs are due to split carries!
Gore with BArlow, Benson with Jones, Bush with McAlister and Maroney with Dillon. However, Gore and Benson are first stringers. So who should be my second RB?

You should really go by schedule, make your picks based on the defenses they play. Alternate them until you strike gold with an injury somewhere. Start with Gore, he seems to be leading the race and with the injury to Benson- Jones might sneak into the picture soon. Maroney has been awesome this preseason, but with Dillon still around he will not get that many touches. Same for Bush.

Thomas Jones started practicing this week, and Benson is out for maybe the preseason so his value dips a little bit. Id say watch the rest of the preseason and decide between the other 3. Gore seems destined to get the most carries right away, but Maroney and Bush could be special with 10-15 touches a game. I just hope that you pick up Ladell Betts to back up your first round investment. You'll probably start out with Gore, but later switch to Maroney or Bush.

Use Bush, until Benson solidifies his hold on the Chicago #1 RB job. Gore hasn't separated himself from the SF pack, and his knees are unlikely to hold up for more than a month at a time. Maroney doesn't look to be a #1 back unless Dillion is injured.

Id give Gore a try for week one against Arizona. The Cardinal defense doesn't have a strong run stopping reputation and it could end up being one of the better sleeper starts of the first week. After that though you need to do some serious analizing and possibly trade for a better starter. If your backs are this weak then other parts of your team might be strong. Package a deal so you can get a top 15 back to get on your sunday roster.

go with frank gore, he is undisputedly number one in SF, Maroney will be backing up Dillon to start the season, but in week 8 he should have won the starting job. Bush is used in receiving as well as rushing so if your league gives points for catches he should start, benson is out for at least week 1, so jones will handle it but who knows from there

Definetly Bush he has been great so far in the preseason and i think by week 4 he'll be the #1 on that team. Having 4 really good sleeper running backs i would also try to trade 1 or 2 of them for a solid WR.

I would go with Benson even though Bush looked good in his 1st preseason game. But I would probably try to make a trade for a better RB especially with Portis already being injured in his 1st preseaon game.

benson and gore are both injury prone. bush will be used as a receiver also. maroney will get alot of 3rd down carries and possibly steal td's away from dillon.

a lot of this depends on your scoring format but I think it would best for you to use Gore since he looks like the front runner.
Benson is banged up already and nobody really knows how carries will be decided in New Orleans.
If this is a point per reception league then Bush might be a better option since he will probably get some passes thrown his way on a weekly basis.
