why are people with things wrong with them e.g downsyndrome and called special?

calling them special is just a encouragement to them. However, if they are retarded, they can still hear. Calling them special may boost up their confidence.

Men always like to hear good things from others regardless they are lies.

Special is not normal. Special people have special needs.
