about 5. The i870 has a transflash memory card slot though, and those hold plenty of songs.

It depends on the length of the songs, and the size of the files. However, an average song of 3 minutes in length, good quality mp3 would be about 4 megabytes. So you are looking at roughly 6 - 8 songs.

If your phone as an SD slot, you can buy SD cards and vastly expand the capacity of your storage. Say, if you get a 1GB SD card, you can put about 240 songs!

Must songs are around 3 - 4MB, so your phone may hold 8 - 10 songs (the longer the song and the higher the quality of the audio file, the larger the file).

if the format is mp3 then well it might hold abt 5 to 7 songs
but if the format is .ogg then it can told 12 to 15 songs

depends on the bit rate used to encode MP3 files, if you use CD quality MP3 files, then it will take 6 files, cause each file is about 5 MB, if you chosed 32 Bit stereo encoding, then you can take up to 25 songs on that memory, but the quality of sound will decrease
