Honeysuckle is probably one of my favorite scents but I really don't like it as a perfume. It is great for bringing on nostalgia, though.
My favorite scent, in terms of perfumes, is Green Tea. Elizabeth Arden has a lovely Green Tea perfume with two recent modifications... one of which I hate (the summer one) and one of which I could not resist (the revitalizing one). She also has a lovely sunflower scent... and I generally dislike florals.
Guerlain used to have a line of different scented Green Tea perfumes... but the lady at the counter didn't know of ANY of them last time I checked... even though I was wearing the lemon or lemongrass green tea scent at the time! Anyhow, several of them were delightful.

Interesting question, however, that is one personal question I avoid as best I can. I am unique and my perfume is awesome. It is a most sensual scent ever and of course not just anyone can wear it. I wear it year round. I don't believe in changing scents at all. I will only change clothing, make-up and hairstyles for the season.
I receive many, many compliments from both genders. If asked by females/women my response is "thank you, my sister introduced me to the scent recently and I haven't had the time to find out the maker or the name of the scent". Men never fail to compliment. The funniest experience is, I was with a group of women when a gentleman said someone smells very nice. All women in the group said what all they were wearing. Its ahhh-mazing how many women wear the same scents and all have different odors (yuck). So, he went around getting a whiff of all the women and when he got to me of course he said it was me. I answered shyly "my sister gave me a bottle of the scent and I have no idea who makes it or what the name is".
So, if you want to know who my hairstylist is by all means I will share that, haha!

As a man with relatively good taste, I actually prefer the cheap stuff for myself. I threw out the Polo, Nautica, etc. I use Brut and Old Spice.
I love the scent of Lilac on women. I bought Jessica McClintock for my wife, but she doesn't like it. And I am allergic to most of the perfumes and have to always argue with my wife not to wear most of stuff she has.
