if she is not "nice and fresh" down there already.... something could be wrong. she could have a yeast infection or some type of bacterial infection that is causing the odor. tell her to see a dr.

i wouldn't recommend douching because it only masks the scent and whatever the problem maybe. it can also cause irritation if she already has an infection.

of course take a shower everyday and wipe with a wet piece of toilet paper after urinating.

Dude, if you have issues with the natural smell of a woman, then that's your own problem. What you're smelling is probably what she's supposed to smell like. Most guys like it.

If I were you, I would just try to be thankful that she's even letting your down there, and appreciate it. To talk to her about it would be extremely embarassing for her and insulting. While that may prompt her to do something to smell more "nice and fresh", she'll also be terribly self-concious in bed about her smell. And that usually doesn't make the sex any better...

But to answer your question, regular ol' soap and water usually does the trick. Maybe the two of you can fool around in the shower before (or for the entire shabang). Maybe drop hints like about how you're turned on by her post-shower state (the look, feel and smell).

This is a very personal thing to ask but is this question for personal hygeine or for pleasure. Because men are not always smelling fresh down there either. (check yourself)
If for pleasure both take a shower to start off and a nice body wash that smells good is nice for both of you make sure you dry off completely. Ladies need to use mild soaps to wash private area to keep infections at bay.

If this is for hygeine and after a shower and she does not smell fresh and clean one thing she can do but this will be hard for you to ask is to make sure that she is washing the area and drying the area after the showers otherwise a doctor needs to be seen if there is a bad odor it could be an infection.

Make sure she bathes daily and eats a healthy diet with lots of fruit! If she's a smoker it may be a lost cause. She should also wear cotton panties...more breathable. Douching is NOT a good idea! It just flushes all the bacteria straight up! gross.

What? You think YOU smell like roses and lavender down there? Get real. So long as you are both clean, deal with the rest.

Does it smell really bad like vinegar or dead rat? Let her know to shower everyday and wash that thing everyday, scrub it really good. It might be a good idea to let her know she smell really bad down there because she might not be aware of it. Yuck.
