There are a couple of possiblities. Crank seal, valve cover gasket, oil fileter gasket, oil line or other component gasket leak.
If you want to diagnosis yourself... get can (or two) of 'engine degreaser' from your local auto parts. Take to local power spray car wash and user per the direction on the can. Take the car home and park it. Using an inexpensive white sheet, place this under the car over night. IN the morning, look to see where the oil drips are located. Then... try to follow that leak up to where it's coming from. Remember that the oil could be 'blown back' from a point different from the leak due to air movement.
Good luck and I hope this helps!

Make sure that it is oil and not transmission fluid. You have to check the transmission fluid when the engine is hot. Checking the oil should be done when the engine is cold. If the engine is hot when you check the oil it make give you a reading of higher than it actually can be. It could also be a seal around the oil pan that is leaking. I couldn't find a diagram.

Two obvious possibilities for this oil leak would be the failure of the front seal or the valve cover gasket. Because of the make and model of your car, it will require quite extensive work to reach these areas. If the car is an older car and with many miles, you may want to consider if the repairs are going to be worth the price. Because at this point other system failures may occur at any time.

try a few of these:
Rocker panel gasket
Oil pressure sensor
head gasket
oil filter
Best thing to do is to use a good degreaser and pressure wash off with a hose then run the car on tickover and watch carefully

Could be a lower seal or valve pan gasket.

are you sure the "oil" is not transmission fluid? you might have a blown seal of either the motor or the transmission.

You've got a bad seal or a bad o-ring somewhere. Need to take it to a mechanic.
