How proud of being American would you be if you lived in New Orleans and you know that your government would have been prepared to watch you die in the Katrina Episode.?

I'm not proud to be an American. And...

What is JESI's problem?

In her answers she mostly criticizes blacks and emphasizes STRONGLY how she doesn't like black men (they probably don't like her either), then says she has an African friend, which is very hard to believe. Then on top of it all, in another answer, she mentions how her grandfather is puerto rican but looks like a white guy. If he's REALLY puerto rican, he's of African heritage too. He's not white and neither is Jesi!

Again you are the consummate Liberal. You expect government and my taxes to bail people out because of their poor decisions.

If I know that I lived in a bowl, surrounded by water, I think I would either move or get some very good flood insurance. For years and years people in the Big Easy knew they were a disaster waiting to happen. Also, corrupt politicians in Louisiana siphoned money away from building up the levee to their friends in business.

There is no way the US government could have been prepared. They thought the local governments would have their act together.

I have seen your postings on this site and it seems to me that you really don't like our country. Are you unhappy because President Clinton cut off welfare after a certain period of time? Are you unhappy because you can't get a job from a white dude even with Affirmative Action? Are you unhappy because the government won't pay you a salary for doing nothing like so many of your brothers? Tell me, why do you hate America?

Many of us who have to look at your hateful postings would like to know.

It comes down to choosing to live in the valley between a giant lake and the ocean. The government had no idea of the grand scheme of the disaster.

New Orleans is run by blacks and they didn't do a damn thing for the people there, if you live below sea level and you know a hurricane is coming, its your OWN damn fault for not getting out of there, why don't people take responsibility for themselves anymore instead of relying on everybody else for your well being, your not going to have a very good life if you keep relying on other people to keep you safe and happy
