As most super-geniuses, Wile-E is a self employed sub-contractor and consultant.
He was doing great during the 90s dot.com bubble, but lost his shirt on Acme stock options a year after they went public. Wile-E, like other investors, were rich as dirt on paper until Dave Navarro lost a nipple to the Acme Pierceityourself-a-tronic 3000 live onstage in January 2001.
He's currently spottily employed as an extra on WB melodramas (almost had a speaking role in Smallville last season, but lost out to Lex's taking chiuaha) and living on his long time platonic friend, Midge's, couch in Burbank, Calif.
