You'll have plenty of sexless time after the honeymoon to figure out your plan, but perhaps a prenuptial agreement would make the whole cutting and running process go a lot more quickly. However, that would mean discussing the possiblity of divorce before actually getting married... seems like a fatalistic curse to me.
The best plan would be to buy a place in the Bahamas (don't tell the fiancée about it), keep a secret passport in another name and keep a few thousand dollars in a secret bank account. Withdrawal would be very easy.

It is true...and I think that you are very wise to consider the possibility of divorce before you marry. If you have serious doubts of divorce prior marriage then maybe you need to step back and reexamine your selection.
Do you have a "life plan"? If you don't then you are batting with your non-dominent arm. You need a plan...period. Does she have a plan? You need to have a plan from her and then you need to compare it to your plan. If both plans are reasonably compatible then you have eliminated one of the pitfalls in a marriage.
You should not have children for a miminum of three years. This period of childless marriage will give you the ability to fully examine your selection totally. Most women cannot keep up a "front" for this long. If you see real danger signs then you must "cut and run". It's the children in a marriage/divorce that really cost you in the long run.

I guess it would depend on what you have to lose, most do a prenup due to money, property, etc.
But some take it as an insult, like "lets try it, and if it doesn't work then we'll cut our losses". It's actually a very immature way to look at it.
If you are not absolutely sure, without a doubt, that no matter what you can both get through anything, then I personally wouldn't suggest getting married in the first place.

Absolutely. A wise groom will have a secret stash, to include a hidden bank account, picture ID in a different name, well thought out plan of where to go and live in a hurry, and a means of transportation that is not easily traced.
We live in a new age and one has to be on ready-alert to change course, seek new beginnings, not just if the going gets tought and unbearable, but sometimes we just need a change....a new face to awake to in the morning...a new scent. Women don't understand, which is the reason for the stash needing to be a secret stash.

If you are preparing for a divorce than you should not get married at all.. Men like you are the reason divorce rates are so damn high.
Do her a favor and call off the wedding.

You're the same guy who wanted to get laid "one last time" at his bachelor party, right? I can say your chance of divorce is probably closer to 95%. Do your girl a favor and "cut and run" today. Poor woman-she probably loves you alot more than you deserve.

if that is how u feel then you shouldn't be getting married!! the divorce rate is so high becasue everyone just jumps into marriage instead of making sure they have the right perosn, which is obviosuly what you are doing too!

Do you and your fiance a favor, don't get married. You do not sound ready and will kick yourself in the *** if you do it.
Wait until you REALLY want to do it otherwise it will not be worth it.. you are already pessimistic about it!

It makes sense.
Getting motor insurance does not mean you plan on having an accident.
