Mine Took about 2 months to grow back to its full length I crushed it in car door by accident :-) after swelling it fell of after about 7 days . Horrible experience ! You can take the Homeopathic remedy ARNICA 200C for the pain and inflammation it helped me a lot.
Take care and God Bless you !

I'd give it a few months...my pinky nail has grown about 1/2 cm in 3 weeks, but then again I'm in a different climate than usual.

how long is a piece of string? it depends on the person, mine took the maximum of 2 weeks to grow properly but that is because i eat fruit and i have smoothies,a better diet is perfect because the vitamins in the fruit work on your immune system which helps your nails grow...don't worry it's not the end of the world, trust me i have always wanted longer nails than my old bitten down ones, patience is key in these situations. My advice to you is eat more fruit and vegetables but don't overdo it and maintain daily treatments to your nails such as gentle washing your hands and applying shiny coats of nail varnish to your nails. hope this helped x x

Long nails can be harbingers for bacteria, particularly if they are artificial, but these people are good for scratching and opening those little foil wrapped containers that are so hard to get into.
