I am a woman. it is a sharp pain going into the pelvic area. It feels like period pain but I just stopped my cycle two days ago. Can you help.

Could be a kidney infection, which can get pretty serious (or a urinary tract infection, which is less serious). Go and see a doctor as soon as you can! And good luck.

Kidney infections usually cause pain in the back, not the pelvic area and your appendix is on the right side, not the left. You should probably get your ovaries checked, as it may be an ovarian cyst. If you have pain when you urinate it could also be a bladder infection.

OK, there isn't much in the lower left of the abdomen and the appendix is definitely not located there. That leaves the possibility of something going on with an ovary considering you are female or something with the bowels such as diverticulitis. If it is severe or continues you need to see a doctor.

You could be pregnant and the pain is your uterus is changing, or it could be a bladder infection or endometriosis. Go see a doctor.

There is the appendix. If it hurts, you may have appendicitis, so go see a doctor quickly, you can die because of that.Hurry up!
