I do not think they hate all Americans just some of those in your government.

Some do, most don't.
Most non Americans have ambivalent feelings about America.
For example:
I admire the American can do attitude, its great cities, the way it sometimes comes out with great movies and music, and its mostly friendly people, just to name a few things.
On the other hand, although I don't hate anything or anyone, I sometimes feel disappointed and angry at many things coming out of America such as its unilateralism (the whole "either your with us or against us" thing), the way it refuses to stick with its founding principals as a true secular liberal democratic country and yes its occasionally "Ugly American" with his/her view that the world should revolve around America and that America is God's gift to the world.
America to the rest of the world just comes across as being myopic and to self-centered...

I don't think all foreigners hate Americans. They think we all have lots of money and are well off to be an American. When I was in England, I got treated very well. Only some foreigners dislike Americans and then a few hate us, so we have to be careful when traveling abroad.

People do think Americans are arrogant and all around jerks. But I'm American and probably would agree with them. I think we can be selfish and rude. People here have the mindset that we are American and have rights. But on the flip side people wanna visit and live here. I have family in Finland and they know it's based on an individual basis. They love our country. So....it depends on the person who's judging us and their experiences and their traditions.

Because Americans think they are so right about everything and there way is always the right way to do things.
Some people think our system is evil and bad.
Example: Some people think charging interest for loaning someone money is evil.
A major part of our whole monetary system seems to work on this principal.

Your Governments,you opt for them,are perceived as such great hypocrites. And the vast majority of your effortless people ignorant and insular. no matter if authentic or not,the latter element is oftentimes proved via Geographic and international stupidity on your questions right here. fortunately there are good knowledgeable adult men and females between you too.

That has to be the stupidest question in the world!!! Why don't you go and pick up a news paper. If you did, you'd find out all the world leaders got together and voted the u.s. the most popular country in the world infact they voted us country of the month!! Duh!!!
