No, but if you are trying to get pregnant you should be taking 0.4g of Folic acid every day to prevent neural tube defects like spina bifida.

90% of couples having unprotected sex 2-3 times a week become pregnant within 12 months. Of the 10 percent who don't, 90% of them become pregnant within the following 12 months. If you and your partner are having REGULAR (2-3 times per week) unprotected sex and you've been trying to get pregnant for more than 12 months, you should go and discuss this with your doctor as there may be some underlying problem preventing you from becoming pregnant.
