Know your history, my friend!

Lyndon Johnson was in the White House when we got involved in Vietnam.

FDR in the White House when we entered WWII.

Woodrow Wilson in the White House when we entered the first World War.

All Democrats with Democrat-controlled Congresses.

True, there have been wars with Republicans in charge of the White House and Congress, but to say that the starting of wars is the exclusive domain of Republicans is irresponsible and dishonest.

I'll bet you were one of those people who blamed Bush for the formation of Hurricane Katrina (not the response to the aftermath, but the actual existence of the hurricane itself) last year.

Republicans start wars because they favor big business and capitalism. War is great for those companies that manufacture military hardware and armaments. If there weren't wars going on, corporate contributors to the GOP would be out of business. So, Republicans have to keep Boeing, McDonnelll-Douglas, Halliburton, Bechtol, and other members of the military-industrial complex alive and prosperous. The only way to do that is to find a reason to start a war (and lying to the American public about weapons of mass destruction worked; now they'll have to come up with a more plausible reason for invading Iran, but as soon as they do, we'll be at war with that country, too!). -RKO-

Sorry but your information or question is wrong. History shows that when war has come to the U.S. is was the Democrats in the White House that was responsible for most of them.
