Just be yourself, don't make the mistake of making what others think more important than what you think. You're your own person, be it. Also, it's a good idea to keep on top of homework, because it's hard to catch up once you fall behind. Good luck!

Its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I remember being so scared of the first day of middle school. and last weekend I just had my 10 year high school reunion. Enjoy, Your School year's no matter how scary they are! Try to make the best out of every opportunity you have. You'll enjoy MIddle school a lot better!

Make sure you have a ride home or know the route you will take when walking home. Have a little extra cash in case you don't like what they serve in the lunch line. Be nice and polite to everyone. Be quite in class and don't talk back to the teachers.

Well- I'm going back!! On the 7th!! Its not bad - all you have to do is keep cool - most schools have an orientation day to explore the school and try your locks on your lockers - its really easy:!

it was a real change from elementary school you have the same friends and gain more after the first day. It was fun

dont worry about it. once u start ur 2nd yr you'll be use to everyone and a helpful hint try to make friends with all ur teachers. it helps!(*.~)

Don't give in to peer pressure. Drugs, alcohol, ciggarrettes....just don't.
