It is very pathetic that the incidents are still happening in the different states of our country. I think each individual has to change himself or herself to bring to the society and the country. Untill and untill we eradicate these types of social evils from our society, we can never attain a developed or civilized status.

Each individual in the society has to take initiative and active steps to stop and eradicate these evils rather than leaving everything to the police or judiciary. I dont mean physical punishment but social isolation. Each individual in the society has the right and duty to act against these evils and unless we show that complete commitment the solution will remain far from us.

A major cause of these problems, I think is the illeteracy, lack of awareness, lack of social commitment and solidarity. I believe very active processes must be initialized in every village and town in India to better socialize the individuals, that they may become committed members of the society.

Dear friend, I believe that you have a very good social commitment and feeling towards the society which made you to put this post. I wish that the activism start from you in your village.

The time that we are celebrating the Independence, lets us remember that we cannot consider India as independent unlesss we eradicate the type of evils and anti social activities from between us, our family and our society. Let's take initiative. The answer to the how? will depend according to the problem and type of social conditions. But somebody has to initiate. I am very serious. Wish you all the best.

Dowry system is practiced in India in many different forms, but it is observed recently that many a times the girl's side misguides the whole public and the legal and social system by putting false blames on her husband for dowry harassment. In urban educated families dowry issues has been massively misused, the girl side puts false allegations on husband for demanding dowry. It is done to extract large sum of alimony and to harass the husband due to stringent laws. The false complaints for dowry harassment is registered by wife for which no evidence is required and on that basis only husband and his relatives that also include his unmarried sisters, mother, sister-in-law, they go to jail. Lawyers say that there are more cases of misuse of dowry law than the actual ones in the educated urban families, to an extent that it is misused in 90% of cases.
