What are your hobbies? => Welche sind deine Hobbys?
My hobbies are reading and travelling. => Meine Hobbys sind Lesen und Reisen.
My family is a very happy and caring family => Meine Familie ist eine sehr lustige und sorgsame Familie.
And we all .. => Und wir alle helfen uns in schlechten Zeiten.

Petra did already a very good job! (Thought, you are german, till I had a look in your blog).
I would translate: What are your hobbies? - Was sind deine Hobbies?
We are a very happy family and cares about each other - Wir sind eine sehr glückliche (or zufriedene) Familie und kümmern uns umeinander.
(In your sentence you have twice "family", tried to put it in another phrase)
I wouldn'd translate "happy" with "lustig", "glücklich" oder "zufrieden" fits better. "lustig" I would translate with "funny"
The last sentence from Petra is perfect! :)
