In order to change CDs to MP format, you must use a computer.
Basically you can use WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER if you have it on your computer - or download it if you don't. You should have it allready.
#1 Insert a CD into Windows Media Player
#2 select RIP cd from the tab menus
#3 choose the bitrate recording options. Most likely you will want to encode to 128 kbps
#4 select the songs you want to upload to the computer and click RIP/start.
#5 Once all the songs you want to put on CD are in mp3 format, simply insert a BLANK CDR and go to Window's Media Player's BURN CD tab.
#6 select the songs and click start
#7 CD finishes with all your songs on it.

If you have windows, and you use media player, you can "rip" the tracks to the format of your choice, including mp3.

Use MusicMatch Jukebox, they have a free version, the ripping is ultra fast, a whole CD in about 5 minutes

download itunes off the apple website. www.apple.com it's free, legal, converts and automatically names all your songs off the cd to mp3.
