I think there should be a special fund for college students just for fuel in these times right now. It's hard enough for adults just to go to work and the little errands one does just to survive these days. Good luck I have two children in college and thank goodness they don't have to drive too far for school and work. Try getting scholarships and include the gas!!! Good luck.

None that I know of, but if there is such, I want to know, too! :)
If you are in a desperate situation you could contact your local social services office, they may know of a local organization which can help you. Also talk to a campus counselor, they may be able to help you make arrangements. Good luck. :)

If you are talking about commuting everyday, you can apply for scholarships or get a student loan. www.fastweb.com is a good place for scholarships.
