the list says there are 3 extra messages posted than it is showing, and i can't search for my msgs, it won't let me.

Listen, you need to ask at your group. Sometimes the moderator of a group will decide to delete some posts. If they violate the groups rules or are not on topic. If you are sure you didn't break the rules I suggest you contact the moderator and ask what happened. Usually the only people who can delete posts are the moderators. I doubt anyone here will be able to give you a difinitive reason why this occurred. You get that from the group moderator itself.

you mite have a setting set that says in this amount of days post will be deleted
