I was looking out my window and out there was an animal that looked like a giant, really fat, white rat. It's tail was long, gray and just like the kind a rat would have. Its face was long and its belly dragged on the ground. I know it wasn't a rat, since for its size it resembled a small dog. What was it?

Ugh! Those possums are as ugly as hell. If you have cats that are out door animals, be sure to bring their food in at night, possums appear to have a tendency to like cat food. Here in America, they are hideous. However, in other countries there are different species of possum that are actually kinda cute.

A possum. They look like huge rats. You usually see them in trees or the number one places is dead on the road

It was probably a possum. They are found in most of the US.

opossum, they look like a huge grayish white rat, I can't stand them. lol
