Ive been waiting for him now one year he still has 1 year and 6 months left of course i still go out and do my thing im only 19, i was dating him for 10 months b4 he got locked up do you think its worth it to wait for him or should i move on he promises me the world for when he gets out but i think thats just him being locked up for so long please let me know wat u think??

Well do you really want to be tied down to a convicted felon? Not only will it be extremely hard for him to get a Job or rent a house or an apartment,what happens the next time he gets into trouble? I'm not saying that all people who go to prison are bad but do you think you want to spend the rest of your life with someone with that kind of baggage hanging over their heads,also without knowing what he went in for it's hard to say leave him (especially if you love him) but if he's violent or into drugs than I think you should move on and live your life,he's already chose his path and you deserve better than a limited life like ex-cons have.

What was he locked up for? Do you know what living with a "jailbird" will do to your reputation? Are you willing to risk that...? On the other hand do you really love him.... do you think he is worth the wait... , you are still young and life is now ahead of you, it might be better to leave the past in the past and move on to bigger & better things. I think this is time for you do do some selfexamination and see if that is what you want for yourself see yourself in the future.... will he be back in jail again? These types of question... ask your friends see what they say .. ask other adults etc.

girl, think about the situation... you're 19 and your dating a man in the slammer? Obviously he did something to get himself in there. (i.e steal, assault, drugs) Most people that end up in prison will end up going back... is this the kind of guy you want to spend the rest of your life with? Don't let him drag you down too. Ultimately it's your life and it's your call, but just consider 5 yrs from now... 2 kids, can't pay rent 'cause your man can't work 'cause he's in jail... your children grow up without a dad, you spend your nights without any sort of attention from your man...... BUT hey, he's promising you the world, oh what a wonderful world

You are young and have your whole life ahead of you. Why would you hitch your star to a guy with a criminal record that will follow you around for the rest of your lives? Come on girl, even asking this question, you KNOW what the answer is! Be a 'fear warrior' and don't let your fears stop you from being all you can be and having the best life you can have!

It's up to you on whether it's worth the wait or not. They do promise a lot of things when they are in jail. I think like you said you should go on with your life and see how you feel when he gets out.

so he seem not learn anything when he get locked up huh??? and he might be gay when he gets out prison and who knows. and Sorry about that.
Move one and find some guy that really respect you and lvoe you and all that guy you ever dream of why with that loser and wait for 1 year and 6 months???

How many times has he been in? What did he do? What are his chances of going back? Will he learn froom his mistakes?
