There are many answers on that - but make sure you are not just hooking up with someone because you feel lonely and needy - if you are doing that then you are going to possibly end up one day laying next to somebody and saying - what the heck was I thinking. Your heart and your head need to get together again - they have both been a bit out of sort at the moment and it can take a long time for a broken heart to heal - even if you were the one who moved for the divorce.

Every situation is different. In alot of cases, the marriage is over long before the divorce comes about. In those cases, a person would be emotionally ready before someone who is still in love with or otherwise emotionally involved with their ex. Make sure you are over the ex before you bring someone else into the equation because it would only end in pain for them and for you.

That depends upon 'YOU". If this divorce was real painful, and you aren't completely over it, then I don't think it's fair to you or the other person. I went to my counsin's wedding about 4 years ago, the judge signed his divorce papers, and we walked to the next court room, and another judge married him and his new wife. Best thing that ever happened to him! I know of another set of friends that did this. So it depends upon what your frame of mind is, and how your heart is. If you think you are ready, then go for it. Go out and find Mr. Right. Get some happiness in your life. You deserve somebody who wants to put a smile back on your lips.....God bless us all................

Thats up to you. My ex waited 3 months...I remarried after 2 1/2 years. Its all about how you have moved on from the relationship. You shouldn't let it be a rebound, just because you're lonely, but if you feel ok and feel like you are over the relationship and are healthy enough to move on, more power to you!

As long as you want or need to adjust to being divorced and standing on your own two feet again. Don't go running to another guy to just fill the void.

depends on how ugly the divorce was if its not too ugly wait until its all cleared up then go haywire... but if its really really ugly find the most hottest chick/guy out there just for the rebound, but don't stay in that rebound relationship. They don't last

Until the ink is dry on the papers? ;)

Seriously, wait as long as you need to. If you are ready the next day, get to it. If not, wait till you are ready.

Take a year off. Or when you are ready. You will know when you are ready because you will be able to be yourself and go out and have a good time! Good Luck!

As long as you're comfortable with. I started dating immediately after my ex and I separated... Helped me take my mind off of things.
