It stoped rotating but the timer works only the plate does not rotate. Any chance i can fix it ? Or anybody knows a repair shop in and around sunnyvale who can fix it?

Don't know of any repair shops around Sunnyvale, but if the rest of the unit works and the table is the only part that quit, then it's most likely the belt. It's either broken or popped off the pulley. If you are at all handy and want to try to check it, unplug the unit, and turn it on it's top on your table or counter or whatever flat surface you have available. There should be a screwed down plate on the bottom that would allow access to the belt. Take the screws out and see what's up. Don't, however take the whole cover off the unit. There are high voltage coils inside that hold voltage and can discharge it into you if you touch one inadvertently. If the belt is just off the pulley you should be able to reattach it, if it's broken, turn the unit back on it's bottom and look on the back or inside the front door for a plate that shows the model #. Write it down and find a repair facility that carrys belts for microwaves and buy a new one.

I'm sure it can be fixed,but microwaves are a dime a dozen.
Buy another one.

Probably not cost effective to fix it when it is so cheap to buy
a new one at places like Wal-Mart...
