Make her the designated beneficiary. If you make it joint that constitutes an executed gift: meaning she gets half in a divorce. I know you think a divorce can't happen. So did everyone else who'se been divorced.

No tax advantage in doing it. And why give your wife half the income? All women feel more respect and admiration for rich men.
It is in their genes.
