Since the show is called Naruto. Then he is the strongest, however the nine tailed fox resides in Naruto, he is not in possession of Naruto nor vice verse. This demon unfortunately is connected to him so they need each other, at least until the demon is freed. and as someone said Gaara was defeated by Naruto and was freed of his demon. Gaara, Temari and his brother of the sand village are allies of the fifth hokage and the village of the hidden leaf. And im sure they are other characters that are stronger and smarter than Naruto but he seems to find a way to defeat his foes with the help of his friends and the konoha village.

According to the show, it should be Naruto. There are 9 Jinchurukii, I think they call the demon possesed people and as the manga goes on, they are shown one by one and I think are killed by Akatsuki. Logically Naruto should have the most strength or at least chakra but I guess the level of possesion differs which is why Garra is apparently stronger than Naruto and also the mentality of the creature possessing the host. It seems the desert racoon is more protective than the Kyuubi who just kicks in when Naruto has a life threatening danger. Also, the character of the host.Naruto has a stronger will than Gaara who just has malice or a sad history of pain and betrayal which makes him more vulnerable had he not been so strong for his jinchuruki.

I was under the impression that the number of tails signified the strength of the demon. I believe naruto does have the strongest of the demons. He is the main character, like someone already said, and he will probably be the last, and therefore hardest one to defeat.

I think the demon fox is the strongest demon. If i am not wrong the more the tail the demon have the stronger the demon! and the fox have the most tail so should be the strongest!

That is a really hard question to answer since I only watched the episodes up to 168 on youtube. I think that all the demons are equally powerful but the more tails a demon has might increase its power, I think....lol

i think naruto's 9 tailed fox is the strongest demon than gaara or other demons that is why the akatsukis are interested in naruto and gaara.

I'm pretty sure that the Kyuubi is the strongest demon. I think that Shukakuis the weakest and I don't know any others if they are already introduced. I haven't gotten very far in the show.

well ... you don't actually know which monster is the strongest because the more tails the more chakra. naruto's demon has the most chakra but no one ever referred to it as the strongest.
