Click the start menu and then go into the control panel and chose Internet options. What you want to do is redo the home page and then delete the cookies and then run any scans you may have. This should hopefully sort it out.

Check the Home Page settings of IE through Tools > Internet Options > USe Blank | or define your own website you want to see opening.

Top of the IE Page =
TOOLS/OPTIONS/GENERAL, then:
Check to see what the URL of your Home Page is.
Sounds like it has been "hi-jacked".
Change the address back to your usual one.
However, if it is a hijack, it will probably re-set it again.

Could be some kind of ie helper type program. It may or may not help but could install winpatrol- a free program that monitors your system and does look at ie helpers and add-ons & Spybot search and destroy which detects and kills spyware. Also try Firefox instead of ie!

enter the website address in yahoo. likely to be a web page hijacker and you will see links relating to other people who have experianced similar and how to remove.

go to Internet options, see if your homepage has changed, if it has change it back, if this fails you have a virus, you need to find out what virus you have got, do the above first, if it fails contact me for more info, good luck.
