What kind of job should I look in to, to help in the cause on taking down the corruption in our childrens schools...I graduated just 2 years ago from highschool and I had to put up with some very corrupt principals and teachers in the schools I attended. I was put through so much all of those years and I do not want it to be that hard for my children. (when i have them and decide to send them off to school...lol)

Guidance counselor or Student Advocate/Arbitration Specialist (in larger school districts). You can become a voice for a shy child that feels that they have none, but it does take the can-do attitude that you seem to possess, along with a genuine love of the kids (they can sense a phony or insincere person a mile away).

Our school district did not have anything like that for elementary students, but they did have a Student Advocate/Arbitration Specialst beginning in Jr. High that covers several schools in the County, but was instrumental in taking a bullying situation seriously and making sure that it was put to a stop. This person is overworked and underappreciated, but everyone who has ever had a problem and requested help from this counselor has not been denied help.

I'm not sure if you would consider this... but the special education programs in schools are VERY corrupt.
That's because there is no enforcement of laws. State edu departments are 'suppose' to oversee the special ed depts in schools, but believe me they don't.
To me this would be a very good area to look into. The children who need help the most sure don't get it.
Go to www.schwablearning.org and sign up for free and read their parent message board. You will be shocked...
Schools will do anything NOT to help children. They tell parents they don't have enough money to help thru special ed, but when parents wise up and find out the truth, the school will pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees to take these parents to court to keep from helping their children.
And most of these same children grow up to be in prisons, low pay jobs, etc.
And the whole USA is footing the bill for these children who could have been helped while in school at a much lower price....
Everyone pays the price for schools NOT helping children.

Start writing against those in newspapers/ magazines to increase awareness in public. It will definitely create a situation when the corrupts will have to listen and change their corrupt practises.

Look into running for your local school board.
Teachers and principals are at their mercy.
