I would say forced sterilization. I don't necessarily believe in abortion, but sterilize them. And I don't care what anyone else has to say about that statement. I work every day and my husband and I have one child. Yet our incomes help support others who just don't wanna work. There are a million programs for 'broke folk' and all they do is lay around and make more babies. Anyone who says they don't is a liar! Unless something is wrong with you, get a job. And there are places that are hiring. Many of them choose not to work and keep having kids and then use those additional kids as a reason why they don't work. Whatever! Yes, a welfare discussion hypes me up. I think you should get a time frame to be on it, and then you have to get off. Not pass it on from generation to generation like a family heirloom. Whatever number of kids you have when you get on, you should be forced to be sterilized if you have another while on welfare.

While I understand, and appreciate, your feeling impressed that the Welfare sys is being sucked dry by more and more recipients, I feel abortion is not the answer.

I would feel better about birth control, at least until the individual becomes self-supporting and gets off welfare - completely.

I believe every person has the right to fornicate as often, and with whom-so-ever they like, but they do not have the right to ask - as if!! LOL! - we property owners and tax payers to support the results.

No! Because there are diverse reasons why people are on it in the first place!

Women with a number of children and the man has skipped out on her has no other recourse but to go on it. She cannot get a decent job to feed so many mouths, besides who is going to watch the children while she works? YOU?

There should be better programs put in place,I agree, to help people get off the rolls, but the jobs they get don't pay that well and people need supplemental income to help out!

The whole Welfare system needs to be revamped so that it can help people to be self-sufficient as they ought to be.

I say No the welfare program is designed to help families in need granted alot of people abuse the system but alot of the different states have gotten smarter now they set you up in school programs where they help you continue your education so that you can learn the skills to get a decent job and support yourself. I don't think they have the right to tell people they can't have more children it just isn't right.

No. But free birth control and education should should be mandatory/highly accessible. Forced abortion? that's a little extreme. If we want our young people to get off the welfare rolls, we gotta educate them, not force them into unwanted medical procedures.
