Proof of the existence of the soul, its past in other bodies, etc. is called self-realization. This implies that the realization or "proof" is self-evident or subjective in nature. When you become self-realized, you perfectly understand the nature of the self, the soul, but its an individual endeavor and the realization is revealed to the individual alone. In effect, the individual is the lab and his practice of spiritual realization is the experiment. If he/she is successful, then the proof is his realization.
When you eat a large meal the feeling of satisfaction is self-evident. You know you are satisfied, you don't need anyone else to tell you this, and likewise you aren't going to "prove" you are satisfied to someone else except by refusing to eat more. But if someone accuses you of lying about your condition and refuses to believe you, what can you do?
To insist that the spirit soul does not exist because it cannot be "proven" by the same processes of direct sense perception that are used in a lab, only reveals a lack of intelligence in the matter. Spirit by definition is transcendental to matter and therefore using our direct sense perception to perceive the soul is futile. Nevertheless, anyone who cares enough and is sincere enough, can devote him/herself to self-realization and see for themselves. It doesn't have to be blind faith. Do the work and find out for yourself.

First, I would like a rigorous double-blind study that successfully proves the existence of the soul. Secondly, I would then need a similar study that demonstrates that souls exist before and/or after death. Finally, I would need a third study that would demonstrate that souls inhabit bodies, then leave them, then go on to inhabit other bodies.
Irrational beliefs are frequently quite comforting to those troubled by just how wretched the human condition is. Nonetheless, science kicks superstition's butt every time.
There is no credible evidence to prove the existence of the soul, much less reincarnation.

The answer is do you believe that you have had past lives? No one will be able to convince you of them but you. Past lives are real, but if you do not believe that and say they are just a dream then to you they are just a dream.

There are all sorts of theories out there, but if you keep having flash backs and believe in reincarnation, then you may already feel secure, knowing that your have lived before.

beleiving in the existence of souls is a religious thing, and the soul is part of you that answers to god when you die,so if your religion didn`t speak of soul recycling, there`s nothing that can convince you of it because religion is a metaphysical beleif that can`t be outreasoned.

Wow, that's interesting......does a soul have DNA? If my soul is recycled, could it be in a bird, I'm tired of walking.

If reincarnation were true, would you REALLY want to come back to what you are now?
