I was actually planning to ask this very question. I have a theory that the Canadian dollar took a turn for the worse when my husband moved there (1972) and didn't recover until he (okay and I) left (June 2001). I'd like to get some correlations for when he took Canadian citizenship (early 80s I think) and on his parents (left in 1997) and brother (left in 2004).
