Is it OK to be a liberal (like Barack Obama) and speak out against gas-guzzling SUVs, while travelling around in one? Or, is that hypocritical behavior only for conservatives?

Isn't "hate" a bit strong? Did you know Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger of California owns 8 Hummers, and he goes around saying we should conserve gas. Be sure and google "arnold's purple speedo" if you want to see the Gov. of California at his best. Yes, his BEST.

How many "liberals" HATE suv's AND the people...... not many i'd guess. just fanatics. And if our government wanted it so, it would be so.. We could have been using much better technology for years, but the oil companies kept that kind of innovation off the market. Don't make this a partisian issue. Its a survival of the planet issue dorkus.
Interesting topic though. Al Gore and the Movie "An Inconvenient Truth" raise some good questions. So why does Al have three big houses (two are really estates), fly around on a private jet, and not use alternative sources of power for any of his homes? He's not so green as he wants everyone else to be.
And Arnold used to have 8 hummers, now he's down to 2 or 3, poor guy.

Most democrats are hypocrites. They say not do something, but it is OK for them to do it. For example: Al Gore makes a movie about global warming and says not to drive SUV's; however, on Larry King Live, Gore said he drives a Lexus SUV. I shouldn't have to say anything about John "flip-flop" Kerry. Bill Clinton lied to everyone. His woman is a lesbian. The only reason the democrats like Obama is because he is such a nut too. After the White Sox won the World Series he bragged about getting drunk with the Chicago Mayor. If it had been Bush bragging, CNN would have been calling for impeachment. There is nothing wrong with SUV's, democrats are just ignorant; HUMMER #1.

We are FREEDOM LOVING, AMERICANS. Who have a mind of our own & use it. They are pi$$ed off cuz we don't buy into the Liberal Lefts MADE UP Agendas.& lies.
.WE ARE NOT ENVIRO.WEINIES! We DO NOT buy into Global Warming & all that insane b.s! We also are usually the blue collar workers of this country & most of us use are trucks/suvs for their purpose.
Libs. want to have their hands into Everything! They are angry lil' gay Communists! Who want to "conform" us all in every aspect if they could! suvs would be destroyed & we would all have drive little death trap cars. LOL!

Where I live, I see more young Democrats piloting those barges. They like to complain about the price of gas but believe the myth that SUVs are safer while they're yakking on the cell.
I don't care who drives them. Stats show that the drivers have a false sense of security and because they are elevated they think they can drive better than they really can. You can't see around the damn things, either.

One they think they know better than anyone else hoe everyone should live, and Two, they think because they are so smart, the same rules should not apply to them.!

or al gore who flies around in planes promoting his movie while adding tons of carbon to the atmosphere, while all the time his several houses contribute to wastage of natural resources.
or the hollywood stars that care so much about africa yet can't seem to give up any of their palatial estates and villas to contribute to relief efforts.
