I think they're cute. I got to hold one once and it was very friendly. Apparently they're one of the cleanest bugs out there.

Cockroaches are harmless insects if you ask me. They might look scary to some people, but actually they are important for many reasons. They are generally found in drains and dirty places. Well, they actually do not make that place more dirty, but instead they eat the dirt and oil present there. So, even Cockroaches look disgusting and stupid to some people, they are really something. And if you see a Cockroach, just think of it as a small stupid bug and squash it under your shoes. Generally they run away when they see that some one is going to do that.

Cockroaches may be bugs, but they do not go near nor will they walk on FECES. Flys however will. Think about that for a while the next time a fly lands on you.

Weird, eh? No way can anyone live as one with cockroaches! I have had friends who keep snakes and spiders as pets, but can you imagine having a pet roach? Here Roachy, Roachy, Roach! Want some kibble...? I don't think so!

we get HUGE ones in the south and they are awful.
i'm not scared of them, though. i just smash them with my shoe! like the one that was crawling on our garage wall last night...i took my shoe off and "SMACK" he was toast!
