Do you mean how long after you peed on it or how long after far along were you when you go the pos? I guess I will answer both ways....
1st preg: about 4 min after peeing, I was 6 weeks along (2 wk after miss period)
2nd preg: about 5 min after peeing (very faint too), I was 6 weeks along, this one ended in miscarriage about a week later (2 weeks after missed period)
3rd preg: about 3-4 min after peeing, I was 5 weeks along (1 week after missed period)
4th preg: about 3 min (very dark line!), I was 3w6d along, TWINS!!!!!!!!!! (day before missed period)

I waited until my period was five days overdue. I took two home pregnancy tests to be sure. They both showed up positive and then the next day, went to get a blood test at the doctor's office. They called me the next day with the results and sure enough, I was pregnant.

With both of my pregnancies, it took 15-17 days after conception before I got a + test. The tests I tried the first day of my missed cycle were negative with both pregnancies.

In some cases, a pregnacy test will show a positive as soon as three days after conception. Most will show a positive at ten days after conception. The most reliable test however is a blood test, that your doctor will do if you present a positive urine test.
Hope this helps.

I waited until I was about a week overdue for my period before I decided to take a test with both of my children. So that way I knew I had a better chance of not getting a false negative.

It took me about 18-20 days after my missed period. I saw a very faint almost not even their pink line. So eventually I got a digital pregnancy test that said pregnant or not pregnant, and it came out Pregnant. :)

I tested a few days BEFORE my missed period and got a positive right away. I tested again a few days later (after my missed period) just to be sure (yup, still positive).
Be sure to retest, becuase pregnancy tests are less acurate before your missed period. So if you get a negative, test again in a few days just to be sure.

with my son i did it the day i spotted (the day i was supposed to start) and it turned immediately, but i'd miscarried the month before, so my levels were probably high already.
with my daughter i didn't realize i was late until i had symptoms (late almost 2 weeks) and got a digital test that said pregnant within a minute.
