hey me personally I'll go for nursing, why because I want to be a RN and then be a successful Physiologist. the medical field is very rewarding if you like the feeling of knowing that you helped someone. Plus, good money

How long do you want to be in college? Nursing, Accounting and paralegal all take 4 years, legal assistant may be something less like a secretary, pharm tech doesn't require college but vocational programs are available lasting a year or less. An actual pharmacist takes 5-6 years. So these are very different things.
For decent pay and great job stability nursing is good. There are 2 year programs but they are limited. The others are all good too. If you want to make the most money and make it the easy way become a pharmacist but the school is long and hard.
You are very well directed because everything you are considering becomes a real job later. Me, I wanted to study what interested me personally when I first started college. Big mistake. You're on the right track.

Nursing is a good field. It pays well in most places and a wide variety of jobs are available. You could work in a physician's office, a hospital, clinic or even for the city or state.
Accounting has a wide variety of jobs available too. It is usually a little more solitary job in most cases. Do you enjoy having constant interaction with other people? If so accounting may not be for you. How well do you enjoy working with numbers?
As far as legal assistant goes, if you are going to college, you might as well go on and become a lawyer if you are interested in the law.
The same with a pharmacy tech. Go on and become a pharmacist if that is what you are interested in. My cousin in a pharmacist. The pay is good but not great. He lives in a small town though, it could be different in larger areas.
Good luck to you.

You dont need to go to college to be a pharmacy tech. I had never been to any kind of school and worked as a pharmacy techinician. You just apply for the licsence. Also, my boyfriend just graduated with his masters in Accountancy and he cant find a good job to save his you know what. I would definitely go to school for nursing. They pay extrememly well and the job will always be in demand. Plus, you get to help people. Good luck to you.

I completely understand what you're going through now. I'm going to college in about 2 weeks, and during the past 3 months I've been changing from subject to subject. First I wanted to study life science, then architecture, then math, and now I'm going for nursing. I think you should choose something that you enjoy doing. That's by far the most important. Because if you're going to study something you don't like, you won't do well. Best of luck!

Nursing or pharmacy would be a real good choice. There is a shortage of nurse's though & they are in big demand. The hours are long but the pay is good & you would be touching so many lives being a nurse !

That is what your advisor is for. Do not depend solely on your advisor. You may get bad advice.
You should have planned years ago.
Join the National Guard. Do disaster relief and help fight bad guys. They will pay for your education.
Talk to the advisor and to an educator in the field about what you need to do.
Proper prior planning prevents poor results.
Maybe I do not want you in my army. Well. You will have leadership and need maturity. Join.

Well, if you were good in science and math in high school then nursing or pharamacy would be good. But if you're brain is wired for words, then pre-law. Why settle for legal assistant? If you're bright enough for college, AIM HIGH and go pre-law and aim for a good law school.
