Sure, a lot of rhetoric and back paddling.
I love how they go back to Clinton, and blame President Bush for everything. It's pathetic.
Has everyone forgotten about the 1st World Trade Center attack? How about the attack on the Cole? How about other attacks on U.S. interests during Clinton's administration? Did Clinton do anything to protect America? It would have been so much easier to deal with Islamofascism back then, instead of getting oral and making friends with European leaders. BUT FOR his inaction, we wouldn't be in this dangerous situation we are in now.
Although I don't agree with everything that President Bush has done, at least he has the courage and resolve to tackle Islamofascism head on.

I am no Democrat, But I do know the truth and that is Bush and the Republicans who are in office right now have Failed Americans ! Everything that Bush has touched has turned to SH** ! So the answer is who has anything to offer to repair the damage Bush has done. It is about time that These Parties start working together for us and not Corp America and their own Idiot ideas ! Because what they are doing right now is not working at all ! People better start looking at Americas Debt and wonder how we are going to pay for that? We paid 327 Billion dollars in interest payments to other countries this year alone ! We are Trillions of Dollars in Debt, And the truth Bush is going to walk away from it all ! And leave all this mess to the next President either a Republican or Democrat ! Wake the F up America and start working together for everyone !

Democrats actually have a plan on how to strengthen our country. Bush bashing has nothing to do with it, unless you think disagreeing with his policies and practices is "bashing".
As far as redistribution of wealth, how about we balance the federal budget, pay off the national debt, and then talk about tax breaks for the rich and the corporate. That seems fair, since most of Bush's budget cuts have come at the expense of programs that actually help our community as a whole: education, Medicare, and Social Security, while they still spend more than they take in.
How despicable his colleagues are. I can't believe you would support his wasteful spending coupled with the irresponsible tax cuts. Trickle down theory doesn't work. Plain and simple.
The republicans in power right now are destroying our way of life and the American dream and leaving a legacy of debt, fascism, and corruption for the coming generations. Shame on you neocons. Shame.

I have more issues with the man than the "redistribution of wealth". He is operating with a secret agenda, he is a puppet, he has lied, causing more than 2500+ service men and women to lose their lives, and so much more.
And really, Prez Clinton did lie; but he committed ADULTERY! And he was investigated, had sanctions against him, and was impeached. Why? Because he was the prez when there was a majority Republican Congress. And Bush - committing worse crimes - gets away with nothing?? Doesn't that look somewhat odd to anyone?? They spent more money on the Clinton Sex thing than they did investigating 9/11. THAT is offensive to me. And that is nothing but bitter political rivalry. And BOTH sides are guilty of doing it - so don't come bashing me because I'm a Democrat!
I think we SHOULD all get along: starting in DC with all of the politicians. They should stop trying to make the other guy look bad and work together to make everything better. Instead of trying to "one-up" the other guy, share some credit and expand on ideas presented by others. There is so much time wasted on battling the others that the time to fix what is broken becomes too short, and come election time they get voted out because the people that really matter in it all vote them out.

What exactly is your question? What do you want people who dislike, or even hate, bush to say?
I never voted for, and do not like bush. He is a horrible president. Why?
1. If you're gonna say no child left behind, then back it up.
2. Stop allowing big business to continue making products in 3rd world countries and selling them here for an enormous amount of money without taxing them.
3. Do not talk about fighting terrorism, then try to sell our seaport securities to Arab leaders who has financial ties to terrorist groups.
4. How about handling the economic problems at home?
5. Why continue to fight a Civil War in Iraq? Our troops are getting caught in the middle. They deserve much better than that.
What else do you want to know why I think bush is terrible?
Edit: EDDie, that's bullsh!t, and you know it. I am so tired of Republicans like you who cannot take responsibility. bush is in office, not Clinton. Clinton was in office on the first attack of the WTC, and he was in office when they were in Bosnia, so stop your crying whiner and take some responsibility for where we are today. It belongs to bush, not Clinton.

Hey, I believe that we should have a more equal society, not just rich getting richer and poor getting poorer. Anyways, I wouldn't mind getting along. I find all this excessive fighting between the two parties unecessary. This is why they rarely get anything passed in Congress. Your question does sound like ''thems is fighting words'' type sort of, with the ''What do democrats have to offer''. It sounds as if you are putting htem down.
PS. Why do conservatives and republicans stereotype against democrats so much. It just gives them a worst image...

Peace and prosperity under Clinton? What a fool. We were in a bad recession when Clinton left office. 9/11 was planned out during Clinton's administration. Parents had to explain to their little children "what was on the blue dress."
Democrats have nothing to offer. The first time I hear some intelligent solution from a Dem to anything will be a first.

Access to health care for all, access to education for all, foriegn policy that makes sense, big brother off of our phones, the end of American sponsored torture, the return of political idea exchange instead of congress as rubber stamp, the end of state sponsored religion trumping science, a return to budget surpluses, tax laws that work, environmental legislation not written by the worst polluters, a return for the US as the example for the rest of the world.

One can hope, but I haven't seen much yet.
charles c: Do you define "peace" as letting terrorists attack us and not doing squat about it? As for "prosperity", the Republicans controlled Congress for six of those eight years, and if you check the Constitution, you'll see that Congress controls the purse strings, not the President.
