any ideas? i have a 22 year old christening gown that we want to use again, however its 100% nylon and has gone off colour really badly, i ve tried biotex, soaking, but it looks yellow still, would be grateful for any ideas.

soak it in some hot lemon water and hang in sun to dry.

There is a dye put out by RIT that says it will bleach white. I don't know if I would put next to baby's skin. Maybe hanging in the bright sun may help. I think the aged look adds something to the tradition of the occasion.

Get a box of Rit Color Remover and follow the directions. It will remove everything, so be prepared for it to be completely white.

Take it to the cleaners. That is what they are specialized in. Take it to one that usually cleans wedding gowns and gowns tends to get yellow too.
